I’m sure you won’t find better lamb in Gig Harbor. Absolutely amazing. All USDA certified, too. The farm is nestled in a beautiful spot in Ray Nash Valley. They also have great eggs. Plus, the family that runs the farm are the nicest people!
We were looking for fresh local eggs and this farm came up on our search so we headed on out. So happy we did. Beautiful farm and friendly informative family. We bought 2 dozen eggs and fresh lamb sausage which we cooked last night and it was amazing. Eggs are sold on your honor on the weekends FYI. Can't wait to see their fruits and vegetables during the Spring and Summer.
Updated 2022 review: Wanted to add the usefulness of the lamb pelts: Had purchased one over a year ago. So far it, and at different times, has seen use as a cover for wooden chair, headboard cover, and as a pseudo-bed-comforter. Its daily use has been and continues to be a great addition. Thank you Blu Rooster Farm. Initial Review 2021/earlier: First went to Blu Rooster Farm to support locally grown products and purchase eggs. Tried the tomatoes and lamb link sausages. Returned a second time to try out different cuts of lamb; namely recommended chorizo. Their hospitality, good foods, and the ability to support locally has me returning to further support them as a local business.
Oh my goodness! This lamb was the best I have ever tasted and so worth every penny. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed this meat. So tender, cooked up very nicely, with added spices it was just mouthwatering. I hope everyone will give this farm an opportunity to bless you with their fabulous products.
I love this farm! I am so thankful for local organic food! An idyllic sheep farm nestled in Gig Harbor's beautiful Ray Nash valley. I have been enjoying fresh eggs, baked goods, and produce every week from Blu Rooster Farm.
Got delicious local eggs here and fresh sourdough bread that was still warm -- amazing! The kids also liked watching the sheep and geese roaming around.
