If you're looking to change how you buy your beef, pork, and chicken. This is the place. You're getting it from the farm to you and it probably doesn't get any fresher than that. They had a good variety of cuts from burgers to dogs, brats and chorizo. Also steaks, ribs, ox tail, you get the idea. They have a lot of stuff. The owner Ann Marie was super nice and very helpful with a ton of information and knowledge. I'll definitely be going back, she has gained a new customer and I'll be buying my meat and poultry products from my local farmer from now on.
Love how friendly the cows are!!! The geese and ducks are less so. They like their peace. Look how majestic that cow is!!!! There is fresh ice cream, fresh pork, beef, and chicken, and they do events like a plant sale today and a lobster truck too! It was fun to park (plenty of parking but definitely uneven ground), and admire the animals and chat with the locals. If I lived closer I’d be buying meat here!!!
I found this place by coincidence early this year. I stopped out of curiosity, but the site turned out to be excellent. The food was terrific, and the meat I took with me was delicious as well. It's worth stopping by if you are near the area and eat some freshly made BBQ food, and seeing the farm's animals is 100% worth it.
Stopped in today, for the first time, with a buddy of mine - and I was absolutely blown away. The sheer variety of offerings was incredible, and you really got that family farm feeling from the moment you got there. Annemarie gave us tons of info about their place, and even went to a different cooler to find the exact cut I was looking for. Ted introduced me to his oxen team and told me all about his life and experience with animal powered traction/Draft animal work. This place is the definition of fast friends and great business. I left with a full cooler's worth and I'll gladly make the trip back often!

My boyfriend and I recently moved to the area and have heard amazing things about Blackbird Farm. We stopped by on a Sunday to check it out and try out some farm fresh meats as we love to support local. It did not disappoint. We got to meet AnnMarie personally. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable about all the meats and very open to answering questions and actually encourages questions so she can share the wealth of her knowledge. It’s farmers and small businesses owners like her that makes all the difference in our community! The meats were fantastic and we are excited to share about Blackbird Farm to our friends and family who come to visit.
Called today (Sunday) at 245pm to ask if any cows were outside and the woman on the phone said Yes! I asked if it would be okay to stop by to take pictures of the cows with my daughter and friend for a local High School Geography project, she said Yes! Out of courtesy I went to the stand to let her know I was here, WOW her disposition changed quickly. I simply said I was here to snap some pics and she grumbled, I see you on the camera. Not a hello, goodbye, check out our meats when you are done, NOTHING BUT BE CAREFUL OF THE HORNS!! Middle age woman with long brown hair, I will never step foot on the property again. Best meat around. The only beef going on my smoker...Amazing!!! Briskets are so sweet and render down perfectly. The marbling on the tri tip and sirloin caps is just incredible and consistent month after month.
Love all the fresh and different varieties of meats. Always friendly people ready to help and answer questions on anything you could be looking for. Add friendly cows that come over for some food that is available for you to give them. And even better you can go anywhere in the country and order their meats online and it will at your 2 days after it’s shipped. Came in handy when spending two weeks in Florida
My kid loves the ice cream,he can't wait to buy one more...... I haven't tried the meat but I'm sure it's the best in the area...
