Bismillah Halal Live Poultry

When my family and I first arrived in the USA, my wife’s main concern was always to have halal food, especially ensuring that the chicken we eat is completely halal. Thankfully, I didn’t have to search too much—everyone already knows this trusted place: Bismillah Halal Life Poultry, Meat, Fish and Grocery. When I visited their branch at 37-15 55th Street, Jackson Heights, I immediately felt relieved. The poultry section was so clean and well-maintained that I was deeply impressed from the very first moment. As soon as I called for service, the staff welcomed me with such respectful and kind behavior that I was pleasantly surprised. They prepared two chickens for me, slaughtering them in front of me while reciting the name of Allah, exactly as halal requires. When I returned home, I told everyone, “If you want to buy chicken, please buy it from Bismillah Poultry.” They are open from morning till night, and their customer service is something I will never forget. May Allah bless Bismillah Halal Life Poultry, its honorable Owner, Mr. Salam Bhuiyan Bhai, and all of their hardworking staff.

I do not to shop here because I cannot support the unethical treatment of animals. I have a business in the area and witness the atrocities far too often. The health department should inspect this place, as what they are selling does not appear to be true halal meat. The animals are not taken care of, kept in terrible conditions, and treated very poorly. From my understanding, halal practices are meant to be ethical, yet animals here are slaughtered in front of each other. I know the Quran does not support animal cruelty, and what I see here completely goes against that. I often witness chickens or ducks escaping in awful condition, and it’s heartbreaking to see how much they are suffering.

It was very nice experience in Misbilla halal. I liked the most is fresh chicken. We always use to go there we liked it very well. But what I felt very bad was a guy I don’t know his name, he might be from inside the chicken cutting store, he don’t know how to speak with customers. The way he was speaking was very rude and laud to us. That made me very disappointed. But don’t worry we will visit store continuously. Hope we as a customer never feel like this only because of that kind of rude staff. Thank you so much

The service is extremely slow. It took an hour just to clean 10 chickens and 2 ducks. In my 21 years of living in New York, I've never experienced such a delay. If you're planning to buy from this place, be sure to set aside plenty of time.

This is my regular place where I buy live chicken and make pice. They used to be very good at making orders. But after my last visit, I didn't get the chicken I ordered. I didn't get the chicken breast and wings. I know that's the type of chicken I ordered. They don't pack all the cuts. God knows.

I would like to commend them for their very good and fast service. They are also very clean and the store has a nice aroma inside.

It was an amazing hospitality by them. They do process my order as per my instructions. Cleanliness was exceptional. My order was ready within their promise time. Loved it

They dont have manners to talk with customer very rude . Never coming here again. They yell at their customers.

This place sucks… dirty… roaches everywhere… i would HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU NOT BUY FROM HERE, i dont know how the city allows them to stay open.
