Tried the drive thru at this new Billy's per recommendation from my sister. Got a Monster burger/$10 (forgot the name) and homemade onion rings (8 in order). Burger was huge and rings were awesome. Definitely will be back and recommend. It's right off of I-49 as u get into Opelousas.
I can’t believe yet another wonderful place plagued by cheapness now. What once was a great place to eat and gave a good amount of food for the price has now went to 💩also. When asked for 3 links they now cut them in half even if you don’t want them that way and all 3 links fit in a 3”x3” box. RIP Billy’s it was good while it lasted. I was a loyal customer for a long time but that’s over now. This is not a link any way you slice it!!! Jerry Lee’s in Baton Rouge is the last surviving real Boudin place now…
Pepper jack and regular boudin balls were delicious. Didn't like crawfish boil one. Cashier seemed to have dry attitude.
Awesome food and courteous employees. The store was clean and full of convient options. Atmosphere was great and good selection of goodies. The boudin and cracklings here are awesome and have been for many years. Plenty of gas pumps. So the next time you get that urge, stop in here and be amazed! I recommend it.
We were driving from Alexandria Louisiana to the New Orleans international airport and stopped here for a bite. The food was great and very authentic to the area which is what we wanted to eat. The staff was very friendly and it was a great value. I was amazed to see the number of people lined up for some Cajun cooking. It was well staffed and so the wait in line was not bad.
Billy’s is probably the best place to stop in and enjoy the best boudin balls the region has to offer. These boudin balls are very tasty and alway a good treat when I am in the area.
Beautifully clean restrooms, drinks are well stocked, and the cracklins are delicious!!
Real, authentic, and tasty affordable Cajun food. Brilliant array crawfish, boudin/balls, chicken, etc. great for tourists and locals alike. Definitely check this out if you’re in town for a local gem!
This new location food service is not as good as it was at old location. Food often served Luke warm. I went twice during the week of 10/8/2025 & received Luke warm burgers both times even after asking for it to be freshly cooked. On 10/17/25, Smoked boudin very dry & fried corn was extremely dry & not freshly prepared. I returned it and waited for freshly fried corn. Customers deserve fresh hot food at every visit!!!
Great store! Lots of novelty food items. Steens canes syrup, praline, spices etc. Really clean bathrooms. The soda area was photo worthy!
Best shrimp and crawfish boudin hands down. I understand they are extremely busy but staff isn't overly friendly. That being said I will definitely be back!

Would've given 5 stars if they had the crawfish boudin balls. Been ten years since I been down that way and I was so looking forward to them. Next time I hope...!!!! Awesome awesome boudin though.

Came here to try what is arguably the best Boudin in Louisiana. Walked up to the counter asked if they had any Boudin sandwiches and they said they didn’t have any available. How do you run out of the one thing that you sell?
I'm from Texas and will go out of my way when traveling to stop here. Only place I've been north of I-10 with real Cajun food. Always amazing food and the staff are all super friendly. Highly recommended.
Amazing food selection! Whether hot food prepared or frozen ready for home they've got the quick Cajun feeling down to a tee! Staff was kind and quick with orders and happy to answer questions about anything.

The BEST BOUDIN IN LOUISIANA!!!!! The boudin balls are HUGE and delicious. Not too much rice, just the perfect mix!
