Absolutely none better! We got my birthday rack of lamb, as well as a boneless leg, here today and I had a nice chat with the owner. I would say, short of total DIY, it is impossible to get fresher meat, in Detroit or anywhere. Reasonable prices, fast and friendly service. No frills, but it's a production facility and you get to see, quite literally, how the sausage is made. They will break down your meat however you ask. Very clean facility. If you like the show "How It's Made", you will enjoy stepping into the cooler to see what is going on. Love and respect to our Islamic neighbors for providing ethical, clean, healthy, and fresh meat.

My family and I have been buying here for so many years now since I was younger! They’re always welcoming, friendly, courteous and ready to assist!! Meat is ALWAYS FRESH! Love the fact that it’s Halal! Never any complaints! They were even nice enough to have donated to our family’s nonprofit organization helping with our mission to feed the homeless on the streets of Detroit! So grateful to have them here in our city! Gotta love Barry & Sons 😊

Very professional. All Muslim people living in Michigan should know this place. But for the qurbani you should let people know the price upfront. But not like I will kill the lamb when you come to pick it up I’ll let you know the price. Let the person know so he knows exactly how much money he will bring.

My husband and I went a couple weeks ago for the first time. Not really knowing what to expect…It was definitely cold in there. But I was greeted at the door and the man that help me was patient and helpful. I drove up from Toledo and I’ll definitely will be back….all I’ve been doing is bragging on this place.

Subhanallah, my husband and I actually came across this store by accident because we were leaving another meat store that had a long line and we didn’t want to wait in the cold. At first we were skeptical. If it’s your first time going it can be confusing. You go in through the big metal door. You just pull it and walk right into a slaughterhouse. It’s definitely cold and loud but overall pretty great. One of the guys walked us through the whole process and took his time advising us on what to get and asking how we wanted each part of the lamb cut. We ended up getting at 37.5lb baby lamb for around $300.

Wow! If only I had known this place was here earlier! My family loves lamb and it’s very difficult to find truly great lamb - even at the best specialty grocery stores in the area with good meat departments. Got it in my head to do marinated, grilled lamb loin and called Berry &Sons. The owner said to ask for him when I went in. This place is the real deal - they’re all working away in the cooler cutting lamb. It doesn’t get any fresher. Berry cut and trimmed the loins right in front of me and the price was incredibly reasonable. The dish exceeded my expectations. Incredible. Thank you Barry & Sons. You’re my new favorite place to shop!

When I first approached the metal door, I was a bit intimated. But, when I opened the door I was greeted with courteous , respectful and kind services. Their smiles make my day! I love the fact that the animals are dispatched in a humane way. The meats are tender and delicious. And, Lion and the team will cut and trim your meats as you like! It didn't matter that my order was not big. 😊 They are like family to me. Today, one of their customers was about to get a ticket and they rushed in and saved the day! They talked to the Parking Meter worker with respect and the ticket was avoided. 🥰 I love this place and do recommend it to all who love animals, enjoy good service, fair prices and enjoy "real" tasty juicy meats.😄
