Beriah Lewis Farm is a family-operated dairy farm that focuses on providing high-quality milk from Holsteins and Jerseys, while also offering a variety of meat products. The farm emphasizes animal welfare and sustainable practices, allowing their cattle to graze on pasture. Additionally, they have a strong community presence and encourage local support for their products.
Amazing milk thanks to the Holsteins and jerseys and excellent care and management! Some of these comments make me chuckle. How can one be angry about one steer that was initially intended for beef, when how many are slaughtered each day, at factory farms? You find no fault with that. At least the cattle at Beriah Lewis are able to spend their lives out on pasture, and you can actually visit them! That's a lot more than what you might say about the cattle that become your grocery steaks :) I am all for supporting local beef, and this is coming from a vegetarian. The cows are always relaxed and chewing their cud when you visit, and the young heifers will always lick you. For anyone that knows anything about animal behavior, you'd know those are tell-tale signs of properly cared for cows. Also, this farm has been around since when George Washington was still in office, which I think stands for itself. Let's keep good and proper dairying around in New England, please!
I have known this family and have done business with them for years. Always a good product and good prices. I recommend them to all my friends
Great farm kids loved the animals and the pork is the best ive had in years.
Great people known them my whole life! Take wonderful care of their animals. Bought a lot of meat over over years from them. Good clean place.
Always a good place to visit
HORRIBLE!!! Do not recommend!!! You just couldn’t give that cow away, so greedy for money you too it back to the farm to be slaughtered. No compassion, No remorse. I hope all the restaurants boycott you!!! I will make sure all my friends and family ask every restaurant in RI if the meat is from your farm and if so we will not eat it. Hope it was worth it!!!
Can’t wait to eat this delicious steak I bought from this lovely local farm. Shop local folks!
Such a sad situation with the steer that got free. The only life you own is your own. Let him go.
Let the steer go free to Skylands sanctuary. How you treat others will always come back to you.
I love beef and milk. Don't listen to the veg heads. Cows rule. #bigmilk
This is a wonderful farm with people who truly care about their animals and their community
Hard working crew keep an old fashioned New England dairy farm going strong.
Let the steere go free to a sanctuary or I will become anti-beef person forever!!!
