Bennett Farms

Bennett Farms displays regularly at the Andersonville Farmer's Mkt in Chicago. I'm always searching for eggs that taste like the ones I've eaten in France. All of us egg freaks know the ones I'm talking about. They have dark yellow to orange colored yolks. I've searched high & low at local farmers markets, Whole Foods, and other " grass fed/ free range/ no antibiotics/ boutique farms that pop up at local farmers markets. Bennett Farms is the first egg producer Ive found that meets my criteria. The man at the market did an amazing "Egg 101" to a group of us explaining the process. Everyone was mesmerized. Also tried the Amish roll butter they were selling. I'm hooked. Gotta try some of their meat / sausage selctions .

We’ve just received our second order of chicken from Bennett Farms. We’ve cooked whole chickens, breasts, quarters, drumsticks, ground, and chorizo. All of it has been delicious!

I purchased a whole hog in the fall. I went to the farm to pick it up and met Tom the owner. The meat is delicious, fresh, and free from all the chemicals traditional pork has. The animals are raised outdoors and are very well cared for. I talked to Tom several times to set up my order and for driving directions to his farm. He was so nice and helpful. When I'm at the local farmer's markets I also pick up some Bennett Farms chicken. It's also raised humanly and it's delicious.

We love Bennett Farms! We discovered them at our neighborhood farmers market and now get their monthly meat box and egg delivery. We're so happy with the quality and quantity of the food we receive! And everyone we've interacted with at Bennett are just genuinely wonderful people! Also, do yourself a favor - try the cottage bacon. It's amazing. Proud to support a veteran-owned business!

I purchased my Thanksgiving Turkey from Bennett Farms. It was the BEST turkey I have ever made, so moist and tasty. I will be ordering my turkey from them again in future. I have also bought other meat products, which are all amazing, at farmers markets.

Bennett Farms has always been our go-to vendor at the Buchanan Farmer’s Market since we moved here 2 years ago. I love buying their whole chickens because I know they’re not pumped full of saline or other things to make them look bigger. We’ve also bought sausages and brats from them and have been very satisfied! Why wouldn’t you buy local when the quality is awesome?!

I have had the pleasure over the summer of purchasing all my eggs, meats, butter from Bennett Farms at our local farmers market. They have the best eggs in the land, their chorizo is to die for and butter that taste smooth and creamy. (reminds me of the butter from when I was a kid). Great quality and amazing customer services.

We found Bennet Farms while visiting Michigan this summer. We met Tom when we were there and bought some eggs and they were amazing. Tom was friendly and we could tell he practices ethical farming to the highest degree! He is hardworking and really prioritizes the health and wellbeing of the animals. Since then we have made some orders online (they deliver every other week to Chicago) and tried various items and all have been phenomenal! We also ordered a turkey for Thanksgiving and can’t wait to try it! So grateful we found this farm. Thank you Tom!

Love that I can either pick my weekly order up at the farmer's market or get it delivered. I order all my pork, and chicken products from Bennett because they use regenerative, humane farming practices, and I like to support local. EXCELLENT bacon. Also, our dog Bruno is a huge fan of the dry pig ears.

First time buying product at farmers market in South Loop chicago. Bacon and eggs were great. Bought some Italian sausage which I will be trying out this week. I will definitely be back for more. Bought some chicken apple sausage to try as well.
