This place is crazy Nantucket expensive, but once you make peace with sticker shock dive in and enjoy. The place has a fantastic selection of upscale groceries and the deli/takeout is outstanding..sandwiches make 2 meals. The nursery is wonderful too...we filled the car with autumn. Staff friendly and helpful. We did see a seagull swoop down and steal the food of a bicyclist sitting at an outside table..so enjoy eating outdoors but be aware..those birds are smart stinkers 😅
What a great find on Nantucket. A good bike ride to the farm market but well worth it. There are some great finds here, from breakfast sandwiches, to fresh pastries like the chocolate donuts and blueberry muffins. Then there are pies and cookies too. And some great fruits and vegetables.Oh yea, there is local honey, some cool hats and shirts, great soaps and candles, and just about anything else you might need. A great find.
I came here to get a breakfast sandwich while out on a walk. The place itself is more like a small supermarket, but they have a counter to order fresh made sandwiches along with pre-made selections. I ordered the turkey and egg pesto sandwich ($11) that was delicious. Super friendly staff
We love Bartlett’s Farm for produce, the deli, and the bakery! Some of the produce is local and grown on the farm. In the summertime the corn on the cob and tomatoes are always delicious. We’ve tried a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, and they are always good for the price but I wish they would offer vegan options. My family is OBSESSED with the Goat Cheese dip which has pesto and sun dried tomato. I can also recommend the bakeries cookies, and pies. 🥧 They have a decent selection of pantry items and packaged foods like chips, bread, etc. but they are a little bit higher priced than other grocery stores on the island.
Walked over here after Cisco Brewers. It was maybe a 10 minute walk. (There is no sidewalk for most the walk. When you get to the curve in front of the farm, there is a dirt path that takes you straight to the parking lot.) This is a convenience store that has a deli attached. I wanted to try something local to the island or at least not typical. They have a pretty nice menu of standard fare, but I got their Bartlett's Chicken Salad sandwich. It comes on Ciabatta with honey mustard, cheddar, pepperoncini, and farm made chicken salad for $11.99. I also tried a morning glory muffin, which is apparently something local to Nantucket that I had never heard of. It has coconut, carrot, and raisins. It was surprisingly good and only maybe $3.50. Very fair prices in the deli compared to the rest of the island. I can't speak for the convenience store, but some of the frozen pizza looked high to me, but that's probably island pricing. Nothing too crazy, but I'd definitely come back for sandwich if nearby.
What a wonderful place to stop and take time to pickup a little bit of everything. I was able to snag lobster rolls, T-shirts, some groceries, and ice coffee all in the same place. It was all fantastic too. We sat outside and relaxed near the playground as our children played. Currently this is a little off season so it was not super busy, I’d say usually expect a lot of people here. Well worth going, check it out if you have time!
Bartlett Farm is a great islands adventure. Perfect place to grab fresh fruits and veggies, grab a bottle of wine, walk around, kill some time , grab lunch, and dinner for home. They have great bakery and fresh dessert assortment. Their tomatoes are the best tomatoes ever. Kids friendly - yes, especially summertime. They have little playground and ice cream. They also offer some fun family adventures, including tractor rides and tomatoes picking. When you hear farm, do not think it is just a farm is much more. Great cheese and crackers assortment. Weekly dinners specials. Breakfast and lunch daily... even yoga. They have everything in one. Yes, prices are pricey, but you got all in one. The garden center is amazing. You can find everything that you need from dirt and planters to the seeds. Flowers are beautiful and also their flower arrangements. I will add that the pumping season is my favorite - they have the best pumpings for decor ever. Place is picture perfect. Worth it for the experience.
This is a nice destination to stop and pick up fresh items like plants and fruits. Inside there is a smaller upscale market with some unique products from various locations on and off island. Lots of choice for something different. Also be sure to check out he wine selection and the fresh seafoods. Your sure to find something good here.
I like Bartlett Farms food and products. However the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I called this morning to speak with the bakery and was put on hold for 10 minutes by the baker. She never came back on. So I called again. Was transferred and put on hold briefly this time again by someone. When the baker came on I asked to order and pay for a dessert/small cake for my daughter to pick up for her birthday this morning (since I live off island). They wouldn’t put it aside. Wanted her to come in and get it and pay for it herself if they still had any by the time she came. Not helpful at all.
