I LOVE Barney Creek Livestock! Pete and Meagan are skilled, pure salt of the earth people! The meat is SO good. You can taste the love of the land and animal in every bite. It’s a truly different experience. My health and the health of my family has improved vastly improved since incorporating their beef into our diet. I love that and love that we are contributing to improving the ground they work the animals on. It’s a perfect system: better for you. Better for the planet. Exactly how agriculture should be.
To answer most folks first question, Yes, the beef tastes fantastic! We won’t buy any other and usually won’t order a steak at a restaurant, because we know we get a better one at home. I’m a fisheries biologist and did have some concerns about ranching practices and livestock in and around waterways. Meagan and Pete’s practices, concern for the land and water, and how they conduct their operation, quickly dispelled all of my concerns. At Barney Creek, they go above and beyond in so many ways. Thank you for how you conduct your operation, and educating me on holistic ranching operations instead of chastising my ignorance. Incredible product, unmatched operation, and even better people!
