Barham Family Farm & General Store

I was regularly getting chicken from them because of their slightly lower prices than the other farm in our area, but every interaction with the person in the store was negative. The first time, she didn't give me all the chicken I ordered. I had to track her down outside and tell her that I had more chicken I had paid for. The next two times, the interaction wasn't necessarily bad, but the attitude was that I was inconveniencing her by picking up my order. There were no greetings, no thank you for your business, no friendliness at all... Then, the chicken started to have a lot of blood in the packaging and that's when I decided to pay slightly higher prices at the other farm. I was driving 30 minutes each way to get chicken from Barham and now I get it delivered to my door with a friendly smile, grateful attitude for ordering from them, and no blood in the packages. There was nothing wrong with the meat, but the service was very lacking. I understand that sitting in the store all day is probably not the most fun activity, but the attitude toward customers who are picking up $200+ orders needs improvement (and toward any customer!).

A GEM!!!! I just love this store so much. Last year we bought some of their amazing brats and have been obsessed ever sense! The philly one is my all time fav. Totally worth the drive from KC- not long at all. The general store has so many goodies from jams, breads, and of course amazing meats!! Oh- and the staff are so friendly. They helped me choose items and were very personable. I can't wait to go back and stock up on stuff for the summer. <3

You really need to check this place out. If you're looking to support your local farmers, this is a good way to do it. Prices are very reasonable. Eggs (way cheaper then the grocery stores), great beef....sausage....bacon...they have pies....jams...honey.

I have been eating their meats for over a year and everything is so delicious. Discovered them at Liberty farmers market. Their storefront is amazing because you get to see where the animals live and see other animals as you drive in. My kids and I always keep an eye out for your fuzzy orange kitty, we think he's majestic!

We have loved all the meat purchased at the Liberty Farmers Market. I was starting to dread the end of market season until I discovered they have a store. Again, everything is top quality but I have to mention the brauts. I've never had any so lean. Steaks are some of the best we've had.

Absolutely wonderful meats, and lots of other goodies as well. I cooked their chicken livers tonight, first time for livers in over 30 years, and they were truly delicious. We've loved the beef, pork, and chicken we've gotten there, too. And bacon!

We love the meat & eggs we get from Barham's. Once you get a taste of their REAL bacon, you'll never buy from a package again! Brats are awesome (my favorite is the bacon & beef, of course). We love visiting with the goats and chickens, too.

Kenny Barham provides outstanding natural and humane products, and he is super friendly as well. He is a must buy at the Liberty Farmers Market. You can visit his farm in Kearney, or eat at a number of local restaurants. Our favorite is his rotisserie duck at Brookside Poultry Co. of course! Highly recommended.

They said they were giving out turkeys at fall festival. Well turns out they lied and they tried to get me to buy them for $120 absolutely livid. Bad service. Front lady was very very rude as well.

Love this Family Farm! We get duck eggs, chickens and lots of other great locally grown food!

The meat from there is amazing. Way better than store bought stuff.

Fantastic stuffed strawberry french toast, breakfast burrito, and lavender lemonade! A hidden gem, peaceful setting and amazing staff!

Bought some beef and bacon brauts at the liberty farmers market from them. amazing flavor.

Want farm fresh, glutin free. They have beef, poultry, pork. Also they have Appletree glutin free spices.
