Al's Melons is always a great experience. Today was exceptional. The kind woman running the Red Barn Ice Cream part of the store gave superb customer service. The other employees in the market and the greenhouse were also very kind. I love coming here and will definitely continue to do so.

Delicious food, great produce selection, lots of sauces, jams, and marinades! There's so much to look at here.

I highly recommend trying one of their sandwiches. They feature high-quality meats and scrumptious bread, complemented by a diverse assortment of fresh produce and delectable sweets throughout the store. Additionally, the large outdoor slide is a kids favorite, making it an essential stop every time my family is in the area.

Found honey product lotion, apple cider, BBQ sauce, and subs. The corn maze was a fun treat...

They always have the freshest produce, if you are looking for something they are right there to help you. Highly recommend!!

Great farmers market with a good selection of homegrown vegetables, local bake goods and jam and sauces. A must stop if you are near the Pymatuming area.

I always love to go to Al's because you never know what he has for sell. I been going for years.

Lovely atmosphere, they are friendly and have welcoming staff that are always willing to help and or give you the best advice for picking out produce and the other things that they sell, most of the staff will be very helpful and honest about their opinions when asked and I like that they tell me if something was not their favorite flavor of jerky or what flavor the jerky is and what it tastes like. They also help me figure out If the cookies are soft enough for someone with false teeth and they offer you their opinions so I don’t waste money on things that I or my gram can’t eat. I love that most of the employees are honest and helpful, I have only run into one young girl on her phone the whole time I was there and then it was an older lady and myself in line and she turns around after the lady put her bag of potatoes down a little harder then necessary on the counter and she says sorry I didn’t see you there I was dealing with a family issue, which I and the lady in front said we were sorry to hear that and hope it gets better, only problem with story was she put her phone by the cash register and I could see it was open to TikTok, so not sure what scrolling TikTok was doing for the family issues that she said she was dealing with. But other then that I have never had a bad experience and I love there cookies and my gram does too, they are always soft, delicious and made in the last day or two so they aren’t going bad overnight! The sub shop in the back is AMAZING! they are always on top of you’re orders, even when it’s a busy time of day, like lunchtime is the craziest time for the employees even when you call in and order, the sub is ready on time, and if you get there a couple minutes early they are usually just finishing up with your order, and they will call you up by your name to get your order, and I think they are better then subway! They may not have all the stuff that they have at subway, but they have all of the stuff they need to make sure it’s a damn good sub, oh and did I mention cheaper than what you would have paid at other sub shops, and they have a way of making you feel like you’re being appreciated and valued by the employees who you have been able make them an acquaintance, and that is the way to do it!

Great small business to support. Terrific subs (or grinders or whatever you call them) if you buy a full one you will eat it for 2 meals. Fresh fruits/veggies plus all sorts of locally made/grown products.
