Smoked a whole Mangalista hog from Acorn Bluff Farms yesterday, it was absolutely the most incredible meat we have ever eaten. I'm left somewhat speechless for how unique and delicious this pork was.
I put a lot of value in knowing my meat was raised humanely and by family farmers. Acorn Bluff is certainly that, and it's no small bonus that they spent so much time raising mangalitsa lines of pork. I've cooked almost all of the cuts they've sold, and I like them all, and absolutely love the pork chops and shoulders. I've cooked them numerous ways, and always love how they taste. Yes they are fattier than you may expect, but it's beyond melt in your mouth good. Recently I've also started using the ground pork in tacos and the depth of flavor is definitely a step above the average ground pork I've gotten at the grocery store. I'm a customer for life, I believe you get what you pay for and this is absolutely worth it.

Delicious. Looking forward to ordering more. Kinda addicting. Bacon a little too salty but made some yummy shortbread with the fat from it and tiny pieces of bacon. Had the ham for Easter. Best ham ever! Relatives from out of State said it was the best ham they have had! Soooo good!
Ordered a grillers box subscription - arrived quickly and pork is outstanding. Made the bacon first and you can easily tell this is excellent quality meat. Can’t wait to try the pork chops.
I don't really like ham or pork much, and this ham is one of the best foods I've ever tasted. So different from any other pork I've had. Genuiely could eat it every day. Will be a holiday favorite for years to come.
