Not the friendliest of owners, unfortunately. It doesn’t seem she likes people very much. And the place needs a bit of love and care, it’s looking more like a junkyard than a farm. It’s a shame because the location is great and it could really become a great place to take kids to visit a farm if it weren’t so rundown and this woman who owns the place didn’t make you feel so unwelcome.
Excellent fresh produce, beautiful farm flowers and a super-friendly doggy farmstand attendant, this is my favorite spot for lettuce on the island because they keep it fresh in this antique bathtub. I got two gorgeous heads of buttery Bibb lettuce and they were so crisp and delicate! Do not expect to peek at the corn, no peeking is one of their policies and it makes sense so there’s no food waste for ugly kernels. Just get a few extra ears for good measure—it’s worth it!
We stopped by while on a bike ride since the sign said fresh fruit, stupid me would have thought that meant fresh fruit from their farm not from a grocery store and a farm in New Jersey. If you are going to resell fruit from a grocery store might I recommend taking the stickers off the fruit with the check out code and where the fruit was from. The nectarines are from New Jersey and who knows where the plums are from. My suggestion is to just go the the grocery store, probably cheaper.

A real family run farm. You can't buy corn on the cob and Advil here, you can at Bartlett's or S& S, just their own farm grown vegetables. And amazing field flowers.
